Make The Most of University Travel
Chances are, eighteen years of Serbian life has been more than enough to prepare myself for an exciting adventure overseas that is made possible by university travel international scholarship grant courtesy of WorldLearning. I sure know that this opportunity comes along with tough challenges but I will definitely make the most out of the experience with some handy ideas alongside.
University Travel Abroad Immersion
Culture shock? That is not my thing so I intend to do my homework. It’s not that hard to check out what it is like to be in an American neighborhood especially with Google. I’ve got everything right at my fingertips from popular hangouts to local restaurants nearby. It wouldn’t hurt to push my luck by looking for some places such as the infamous “Kafana” in New York City. And, that restaurant will have to top my list among the must-visit places in the United States.
Good thing I’m no stranger to American culture since I happen to be a fan of Hollywood entertainment including music, film, and television series. If only you can visit my room crowded with posters of my favorite American Idol finalists like Scotty McCreery who has been slated to do his next album early this year. Now, I’ll have to dismantle some of those stuff and bring them with me to my new room in America.
University Travel International Campus Life
Enough with the good stuff since I have to do what I’ve got to do – study and study well! It’s a huge privilege to get an American college education and I wouldn’t take this for granted. As much as I should attune myself to the campus library, where I am expected to spend most of my spare time, I should also be familiar with book shops that frequently go on sale. Next thing I know, I’ll have my very own mini library in my room.
International politics wouldn’t go easy on me but I love taking the road less travelled. While my friends will take up nursing and engineering, I have decided to get mysef entangled with the study of global politics. Where else could I find the best school but in America? I got it all on a silver platter with the scholarship grant in the bag and I am determined to keep it.
University Travel International Social Life
I will be relocating alone but I don’t intend to be lonely while I spend my tertiary education away from home. It would be great to make friends from here with the help of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. I’ve been active in social media for quite some time and I managed to befriend a couple of American teens online.
Most likely, I’ll meet my bestfriend as soon as I meet my dormitory room. I am not that hard to be with so I am pretty sure that my room mate will like me. If my charms wouldn’t work wonders, I bet my social skills won’t fail me. I get along with people from all walks of life being a self-confessed extrovert. My newfound bestie will have no dull moments under my wing.
Oh I can’t wait to seize my university travel international experience.
